Our friend Dennis invited us to the grand opening party for 2424 Lofts, his latest development, in Adams Morgan last night — and they are amazing!
It was an honor to see the space before its public debut. This party was a cool introduction to the lofts, a refreshing look into the future of D.C. living, and, for me, much more.
You see, over the past couple of years, I have been lucky enough to socialize with the developer, the design consultant, the architect, and the stone-granite-marble import guy … so it was not only an pleasure to see the new domiciles — it was a surreal experience, admiring the influences of so many friends within the walls of one single structure.
Yes, stacked high above 18th Street (right above Left Bank) in D.C.’s bustling nightlife center, 2424 Lofts are a glamorous sanctuary full of friendly charms. The units feature magnificent monument views, high ceilings, luxurious kitchens, natural stone baths and private elevator access … all brought together by the special touches of several wonderful Washingtonians.
And, you know, I never thought I’d say this (out loud) but, after last night, I am totally convinced that bigger is better. These lofts *are* lofty! Not only are they comfortable, tres luxe, residences … but they are huge — ranging in size from 2,600 to 3,800 square feet (making them larger than most condominiums in the city. Yes. They’re hot.
Ha! What can I say? I like big-sexy-smart things — especially the extravagant, elegantly sumptuous, icons that reside at 2424 18th Street, NW.
